What do you tune into when you turn to a fall knitting or crochet TV project? First, I must admit that I really miss my summertime TV friends from 'The Closer.' I just love Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson and her stylish black bag! Now onto fall.... I have my DVR set to grab a bunch of different shows each week, but I most look forward to watching 'Brothers and Sisters' (I love the crazy family dynamics, and doesn't Rob Lowe get dreamier with each passing year?!) and 'The New Adventures of Old Christine' (isn't this show the quickest half-hour on TV?). And, of course if there's nothing good to watch, I can always pop in my BBC 'Pride & Prejudice' DVD. Isn't Colin Firth The Best Mr. Darcy ever?

I think Rob Lowe DEFINITELY gets dreamier..and he doesn't seem to age either????
I'm busy working away on my February Lady Sweater and trying to get through all the premieres on my Tivo and Apple TV since I was gone while they started! I think I was most excited about Eli Stone which finally started this week. And Gossip Girl is good fun too. Who am I kidding..I love just about all tv..trick is finding enough time to watch it!

I do like to watch 'Biggest Loser', 'Dancing with the Stars' and 'Amazing Race'. I guess I do tune into reality tv. Otherwise I never miss 'CSI' -- I love Gus Grissom. The other 2 CSIs are past my bedtime. I never can stay awake long enough to see the end. In fact, I think it would be a good thing for summer reruns to show the second half first! (there have to be others like me that fall asleep and aren't sophisticated enough for tivo.)

Re: Knittin' (or Crochetin') and Watchin'
I find myself watching reality TV. Now, I think Tim Gunn or Stacey London will be coming and pitching my clothes as not appropriate. That means I like to watch What Not to Wear and Tim Gunn's Guide to Style and of course Project Runway. Any TV is really good if it goes with knitting. If it is too good, then the stitches don't happen. I have been trying to watch Eli Stone, but I keep falling asleep half way through.

oh, it's so much fun to read these comments! And, I've gotten hooked on a new show since I first blogged. Has anyone watched 'Life on Mars'? It is such a 70s blast! It has great music, fun clothes (which I'm glad NOT to be wearing), and really bad hair. The main female character has a short Farrah-type 'do (which is really a don't!) that looks like it's been colored with too many sprays from a Sun-in bottle. Yes, I was a Sun-in victim one summer, many summers ago while basking in the sun at the Lenker Manor Swim Club. ~ pam

I hate to admit this but I am a reality freak... I love the dancing, sing, etc. I actually went to see Terry Fator the man who won America's got talent 2 seasons ago. I just love Ugly Betty and Grey's Anatomy as well... I do not watch as much as listen as I have to keep my eyes on the stitches.
