- Wednesday nights Join us for our current KAL (knitalong) or bring your current knit or crochet project. We are open on Wednesdays 1-8 pm.
- First Fridays Come on in and join the gang! Bring along a project and connect with others. We stay open until 9 p., so there's lots of time for fiber fun.
Special events
- Saturday, June 12 Open 10-5: Knitting fun in the sun! Join us on the lawn for Worldwide Knit in Public Day (WWKIP Day). Please bring a lawn chair and snacks, and wear your sunscreen (your knitted items look so much better when not worn with sunburned skin!). Feel free to bring a snack to share. - Sunday, June 27 Open 12-5: Jumpstart Sunday in June! Join us on a Sunday to get a jumpstart on finishing a current project, selecting holiday knitting projects, and to visit with other knitters and crocheters. Shopgirls Lois and Veralynne have all sorts of fun stuff planned including:
- project time -- finish a UFO (unfinished object), work on a current project
- holiday projects -- get a jumpstart on your holiday gifts. yarn-love will unveil several new quick knits including a 1-hour squishy scarf, a zig-zaggy cowl, and several sweet knits from 60 Quick Knits. This is a terrific addition to any knitter's library since it includes patterns for 20 hats, 20 scarves, and 20 mittens all knit in worsted weight yarn.
- shop sample sale -- yes, you've admired them, and, now it's time to rotate our knitted samples. Here's your opportunity to take home a yarn-love sample for your own wearing or to re-use the yarn.
- promotions -- we will announce several sales specials
- prizes -- drop your name into the prize drawing to win goodies including Della Que Lena tote bags
- Friday, September 11, 6-9 p. Back to School & Teacher Appreciation Night. Join us at postponed First Friday (due to the holiday weekend) for the scoop on fall classes and to celebrate the fabulous yarn-love instructions.
- Friday, September 24 and Saturday, September 25 yarn-love will be at Knitters’ Day Out (KDO). We are thrilled to be part of the KDO marketplace again and are busy planning special stuff for you. Read more about KDO here.
