Yarn Love

about pam at yarn•love

Pam Wiedeman launched yarnlove as a way to knit together her two passions – knitting and lifelong learning.  Although Pam’s grandmother taught her to knit when she was a young girl, it took Pam almost 35 years to pick up those needles again and seriously knit.  This passion unfurled itself after Pam attended Marie’s learn-to-knit class with friends Patty and Lynne.  Soon after this class, she was lucky enough to connect with Lois and the amazingly supportive (and fun!) Loose Threads group.  When you stop in the shop, be sure to look for the baby jacket and cap knitted by Pam’s grandmother, Peg Wiedeman.

Now onto the second passion – lifelong learning.  Prior to yarnlove, Pam earned a Master’s of Education in Organizational Development and focused her career on employee and leadership training and development in a number of different industries.  She brings this focus on learning to yarnlove classes by offering a calendar of classes that are instructed by a fabulous, talented pool of instructors.  (An Instructor profile section will soon be added to the website.)  Pam is fortunate to have such amazing family and friends who have been and continue to be yarnlove’s support system.
